For an extra nutty flavor, toast the peanut butter lightly before adding it to the wet ingredients. If you don't have whole wheat flour, you can use all-purpose flour instead. For a sweeter bread, use milk chocolate chips instead of semisweet. To prevent the top from over-browning, tent the bread with foil during the last 15 minutes of baking. Store any leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
