Follow The Directions

01

Step

Preheat oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C). Lightly grease a pizza pan with olive oil and dust with flour. (5 minutes)

02

Step

Heat 2 teaspoons olive oil in a medium skillet over medium heat. Add the cubed chicken and cook until fully cooked and lightly browned, about 5 to 10 minutes. Set aside to cool slightly. (10 minutes)

03

Step

Lightly dust a clean, flat surface with flour. Roll the pizza dough out to a circle that fits your prepared pizza pan. Carefully transfer the dough to the pan. (10 minutes)

04

Step

In a small bowl, combine the tomato sauce, 1 tablespoon olive oil, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Spread this sauce evenly over the pizza dough, leaving a small border for the crust. (5 minutes)

05

Step

Scatter the cooked chicken, sliced chourico, red onion, and banana pepper rings evenly over the sauced dough. Top with the shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheese blend, followed by the grated Parmesan cheese. (5 minutes)

06

Step

Bake in the preheated oven on the middle rack until the cheese is melted, bubbly, and lightly browned, about 20 minutes. (20 minutes)

07

Step

For a more golden-brown top, switch the oven to broil for the last 3-5 minutes, watching carefully to prevent burning. (5 minutes)

For a spicier kick, use a spicier variety of chourico sausage.
Feel free to add other toppings such as bell peppers, mushrooms, or olives.
For a crispier crust, pre-bake the pizza dough for 5-7 minutes before adding the toppings.
If you don't have fresh pizza dough, store-bought is a perfectly acceptable substitute.
Consider adding a drizzle of hot honey after baking for a sweet and spicy contrast.
