Follow The Directions

01

Step

Preheat an air fryer to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). (2 minutes)

02

Step

In a gallon-sized resealable plastic bag, combine flour, seafood seasoning, paprika, salt, parsley, and black pepper. Seal and shake until well mixed. Place beaten eggs in a shallow bowl. (5 minutes)

03

Step

Pat the shrimp dry with paper towels. Working in batches, add shrimp to the seasoned flour, ensuring each piece is thoroughly coated. Dip the floured shrimp into the beaten eggs, then back into the seasoned flour for a second coating. (10 minutes)

04

Step

Arrange the breaded shrimp in the air fryer basket in a single layer, being careful not to overcrowd. Lightly spray the tops with nonstick cooking spray. (3 minutes)

05

Step

Cook in the preheated air fryer for 4 minutes. Open the air fryer and spray any dry spots with nonstick cooking spray. Continue cooking until the shrimp are golden brown and crispy, approximately 3 minutes more. (7 minutes)

For an extra crispy coating, try using panko breadcrumbs instead of flour for the final coating.
If you prefer to remove the tails, you can do so before breading the shrimp.
Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce, such as cocktail sauce, tartar sauce, or a spicy aioli.

Make sure not to overcrowd the air fryer basket; otherwise, they won't get crispy.

Next time, I'll try adding a pinch of cayenne pepper for a little heat.
