Oregano, thyme, or red pepper flakes would all be great additions. These meatballs can be made ahead of time and frozen for later use. Simply bake as directed, let cool completely, and then freeze in a single layer on a baking sheet before transferring to a freezer bag. Serve with your favorite marinara sauce, pesto, or creamy mushroom sauce.
