Follow The Directions

01

Step
2 mins

Bring water to a boil in a large saucepan. (Prep time: 2 minutes)

02

Step
2 mins

Add ramen noodles and seasoning packet; cook and stir for 1 minute. Add mushrooms, edamame, soy sauce, and Sriracha; cook for 1 more minute. (Cook time: 2 minutes)

03

Step
2 mins

Add sirloin and cook until firm and reddish-pink and juicy in the center, 1 to 2 minutes. An instant-read thermometer inserted into meat should read 130 degrees F (54 degrees C) for medium-rare. (Cook time: 2 minutes)

04

Step
1 mins

Ladle soup into bowls. Garnish with cilantro and more Sriracha if desired. (Prep time: 1 minute)

For optimal slicing, freeze the beef for about 20-30 minutes before slicing.
Feel free to adjust the amount of Sriracha to your preferred spice level.
If you don't have shiitake mushrooms, cremini or oyster mushrooms make great substitutes.
A soft-boiled egg adds richness and depth to this ramen.

The beef was so tender! Freezing it beforehand made all the difference. Thanks for the tip!

This recipe is amazing! So quick and easy, and the flavor is incredible. I added a soft-boiled egg and it was perfect.

I was skeptical about using beef-flavored ramen, but it actually worked really well. I used a bit more Sriracha for extra spice. Will definitely make this again!
