For a deeper flavor, sauté the chopped onion and garlic in a little olive oil before adding them to the tofu mixture. If the mixture seems too wet, add a bit more bread crumbs to help bind the ingredients. These meatballs are delicious served with marinara sauce over pasta, or as part of a meatball sub.
