Follow The Directions

01

Step

Prepare the Grill: Preheat your outdoor grill to medium heat (about 350°F or 175°C). Place a large sheet of aluminum foil on the grill grate to prevent sticking. (5 minutes)

02

Step

Make the Honey Glaze: In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter and honey together. Once melted, reduce the heat to low and simmer gently, stirring occasionally, until the glaze slightly thickens. This should take approximately 3-5 minutes. Be careful not to let the sauce boil. Remove from heat and set aside.

03

Step

Assemble the Kabobs: Thread the fruit onto the skewers in an alternating pattern. Aim for a visually appealing arrangement with a peach quarter, plum quarter, banana piece, and strawberry on each skewer.

04

Step

Grill the Kabobs: Place the assembled skewers on the prepared foil-lined grill grate. Spoon the honey glaze generously over each skewer, ensuring the fruit is well coated.

05

Step

Grill to Perfection: Grill the kabobs for about 5 minutes, or until the fruit begins to soften and the sauce thickens and caramelizes. Flip the skewers and spoon more honey glaze over each one. Continue grilling for another 5 minutes, or until the fruit is tender and has beautiful grill marks.

For best results, use ripe but firm fruit that can hold its shape on the grill.
If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for at least 30 minutes before grilling to prevent them from burning.
Feel free to experiment with other fruits such as pineapple, mango, or kiwi.
A squeeze of fresh lemon or lime juice over the grilled kabobs adds a delightful tang.
These kabobs are also fantastic served with a dollop of Greek yogurt or a sprinkle of toasted nuts.
