Follow The Directions

01

Step

In a large pot over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked (7-10 minutes). Drain off any excess fat.

02

Step

Add the minced onion and garlic to the pot with the beef. Sauté until the onion is softened and translucent (approximately 5 minutes).

03

Step

Stir in the tomato paste, crushed tomatoes, onion soup mix, beef bouillon cubes, bay leaf, mixed vegetables, and water.

04

Step

Increase the heat to medium-high and bring the mixture to a boil.

05

Step

Once boiling, add the orzo pasta and cook until tender (about 10 minutes).

06

Step

Season with salt and black pepper to taste before serving.

For a leaner option, substitute ground beef with ground turkey or a plant-based ground.
Fresh vegetables, such as chopped zucchini, carrots, or celery, can be added to enhance the flavor and nutritional value. Adjust cooking time as needed.
Remove the bay leaf before serving.
