For a richer flavor, use toasted sesame oil in place of some of the canola oil. Start with 1/4 cup and adjust to taste. If you prefer a sweeter dressing, gradually add more sugar, 1 tablespoon at a time, until you reach your desired level of sweetness. Toasting the sesame seeds enhances their nutty flavor. Toast them in a dry skillet over medium heat for 2-3 minutes, or until golden brown and fragrant. This dressing can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.

Apr 3, 2025The onion juice adds a unique depth of flavor that I haven't found in other sesame dressings. I'll definitely be making this again!
