For extra flavor, brush the tops of the biscuits with melted butter and sprinkle with garlic powder before baking. If you don't have self-rising flour, you can make your own by combining 1 cup all-purpose flour with 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder and 1/2 teaspoon salt. These biscuits are best served immediately, but can be stored in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
