Follow The Directions

01

Step

In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium-high heat until crumbly (5-7 minutes). Drain off any excess grease.

02

Step

In a large stockpot, combine water, brown rice, browned beef, beef bones, and rosemary. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and simmer, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking, until the rice is very soft and mushy (about 45 minutes). Add more water as needed to maintain a porridge-like consistency.

03

Step

While the beef and rice mixture simmers, combine the carrots, spinach, and eggs (with shells) in a blender. Blend until completely smooth, ensuring no large pieces of eggshell remain.

04

Step

In a separate bowl, mix the pumpkin puree and the blended vegetable-egg mixture until well combined.

05

Step

Remove the meat mixture from the heat. Pour the pumpkin-egg mixture into the pot and stir well to incorporate. This will cook the eggs in the hot mixture (about 5 minutes).

06

Step

Allow the mixture to cool completely before serving to your dog (about 30 minutes).
