For a richer flavor, use homemade chicken stock. Feel free to customize the vegetables with mushrooms or other favorites. If you prefer a drier dressing, reduce the amount of chicken stock by 1/2 to 1 cup. The dressing can be assembled a day ahead. Cover and refrigerate until ready to bake. Add 15-20 minutes to the baking time if baking from cold.
