Follow The Directions

01

Step

Gather all your ingredients (5 mins).

02

Step

Rinse chicken thighs under cold water and pat dry with paper towels. Place them into a large resealable bag (5 mins).

03

Step

In a large bowl, whisk together soy sauce, orange juice, olive oil, ketchup, parsley, garlic, lemon juice, oregano, and black pepper until well combined (5 mins).

04

Step

Pour the marinade over the chicken thighs in the bag. Remove excess air, seal the bag tightly, and marinate in the refrigerator for a minimum of 1 hour, or ideally, up to 24 hours (1 hour - 24 hours).

05

Step

Preheat your outdoor grill to medium-high heat and lightly oil the grill grates to prevent sticking (5 mins).

06

Step

Remove the chicken thighs from the marinade, allowing any excess to drip off. Discard the remaining marinade to prevent contamination (2 mins).

07

Step

Place the chicken thighs in a single layer on the preheated grill. Cook for 5 to 7 minutes per side, or until the chicken is cooked through and no longer pink inside. An instant-read thermometer inserted into the thickest part of the thigh should register 165°F (74°C) (10-14 mins).

For best results, marinate the chicken overnight to allow the flavors to fully penetrate.
If you don't have fresh parsley, you can substitute 1 tablespoon of dried parsley.
Adjust the amount of black pepper to your preference.
Serve these grilled chicken thighs with a side of rice, grilled vegetables, or a fresh salad for a complete and satisfying meal.
