Follow The Directions

01

Step
5 mins

In a heavy-bottomed saucepan, whisk together whole milk, condensed milk, and dry milk powder until smooth. Bring the mixture to a gentle boil over medium heat. (5 minutes)

02

Step
10 mins

Once boiling, add sugar, ground cardamom, and saffron threads. Reduce heat to low and simmer, stirring frequently to prevent scorching, for 10 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld and the mixture to thicken slightly.

03

Step
30 mins

Remove from heat and let the mixture cool completely to room temperature. (30 minutes)

04

Step
1 mins

Gently fold in the chopped pistachio nuts, distributing them evenly throughout the mixture.

05

Step
1 mins

Pour the kulfi mixture into popsicle molds or small individual serving containers.

06

Step
6 hrs

Freeze until completely solid, approximately 4-6 hours, or preferably overnight, for the best texture.

For an even richer flavor, consider using full-fat milk.
Adjust the amount of sugar to your preference, keeping in mind that condensed milk is already sweet.
If you don't have popsicle molds, small paper cups or even ice cube trays can be used.
To easily unmold the kulfi, briefly dip the molds in warm water for a few seconds.
