Follow The Directions

01

Step

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). (5 minutes)

02

Step

Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a rolling boil. Add pasta and cook until al dente. Drain well. (10-12 minutes)

03

Step

In a large skillet, brown ground beef over medium heat until no pink remains. Drain any excess grease. Add onion and celery and cook until softened. Season with salt and pepper. (8-10 minutes)

04

Step

Stir in tomato soup, tomato sauce, and water. Simmer for 10 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld. (10 minutes)

05

Step

Combine the cooked pasta and meat sauce in a casserole dish. (2 minutes)

06

Step

Bake in the preheated oven for 20 to 30 minutes. (20-30 minutes)

07

Step

Sprinkle with shredded Cheddar cheese and continue to bake until the cheese is melted and bubbly, about 3 to 5 minutes. (3-5 minutes)

For a richer flavor, use a combination of ground beef and Italian sausage.
Feel free to add other vegetables, such as bell peppers or mushrooms, to the meat sauce.
To freeze, assemble the casserole without the cheese and do not bake. Wrap tightly and freeze for up to 3 months. Thaw completely before baking as directed, adding the cheese during the last few minutes of baking.
