For a nuttier flavor, toast the sunflower and pumpkin seeds in a dry skillet over medium heat for 3-5 minutes before adding them to the granola. Feel free to customize the dried fruit to your liking. Blueberries, cranberries, chopped apricots, or even chocolate chips work wonderfully. If you prefer a sweeter granola, add an extra tablespoon or two of maple syrup. Adjust to your taste. Store the cooled granola in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 weeks.

Jun 18, 2025I made this granola last week and it's already gone! My kids devoured it. The best part is knowing exactly what's in it.

Jun 15, 2025The recipe was easy to follow, and the granola came out perfectly crunchy. I swapped the cherries for cranberries and added a handful of chopped almonds. Delicious!
