Follow The Directions

01

Step

Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Cook spaghetti in the boiling water, stirring occasionally, until tender yet firm to the bite; drain. (Approximately 12 minutes)

02

Step

Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground beef, onion, and garlic; cook and stir until beef browned and crumbly. Drain and discard grease. (5 to 7 minutes)

03

Step

Stir spaghetti, kidney beans, diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, mushrooms, water, chili seasoning, and Parmesan cheese into beef mixture until combined.

04

Step

Cover the skillet, reduce heat to medium-low, and simmer until hot. (Approximately 10 minutes)

05

Step

Top with Cheddar cheese and serve immediately.

For a spicier kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the chili mixture.
Feel free to substitute ground turkey or chicken for the ground beef.
A dollop of sour cream or a sprinkle of chopped green onions makes a great topping.
For a vegetarian version, omit the ground beef and add another can of beans or some chopped vegetables like bell peppers and zucchini.
