Follow The Directions

01

Step

In a large bowl, combine the thinly sliced chicken breasts with lime juice and taco seasoning. Ensure the chicken is evenly coated. (5 minutes)

02

Step

Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken mixture and cook until the chicken is cooked through and no longer pink, approximately. (15 minutes)

03

Step

In a separate bowl, combine 1/2 cup of the shredded mozzarella cheese, sour cream, and salsa. Season with salt and pepper to taste. (5 minutes)

04

Step

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

05

Step

Spread a few spoonfuls of the sour cream mixture evenly across the bottom of a 9x9-inch baking dish. Layer the no-boil lasagna noodles over the sauce, followed by a layer of the cooked chicken. Repeat these layers, ensuring the top layer is noodles.

06

Step

Evenly spread the remaining 1 cup of mozzarella cheese over the top layer of noodles.

07

Step

Bake in the preheated oven until the noodles are tender and the cheese is melted and bubbly. (60 minutes)

08

Step

Let it cool for 10-15 minutes before cutting and serving.

For an extra layer of flavor, consider adding a can of drained and rinsed black beans or corn to the chicken mixture.
Feel free to adjust the amount of taco seasoning to your preference.
To prevent the top from browning too quickly, cover the baking dish with foil during the last 20 minutes of baking.
Garnish with fresh cilantro, diced tomatoes, or a dollop of guacamole for a fresh finish.

My noodles were still a little crunchy after an hour, so I added a bit of water to the dish and baked it covered for another 15 minutes.
