For a richer flavor, use homemade chicken broth. If you prefer a thicker soup, you can mash some of the potatoes with a fork or use an immersion blender to partially puree the soup before serving. Garnish with fresh parsley or chives for a pop of color and flavor. This soup is even better the next day, as the flavors have had time to meld.
