Follow The Directions

01

Step

Prepare the Cereal Coating: Crush the cereal in a food processor until you achieve fine crumbs. Transfer the crumbs to a shallow bowl. (5 minutes)

02

Step

Set Up Breading Stations: In a second shallow bowl, whisk together the flour, salt, and black pepper. In a third shallow bowl, beat the eggs and buffalo wing sauce until well combined. (5 minutes)

03

Step

Bread the Chicken: Gently press a chicken tender into the flour mixture, ensuring it's evenly coated. Shake off any excess flour. Dip the floured chicken into the beaten egg mixture, allowing any excess to drip off. Finally, press the chicken into the crushed cereal crumbs, making sure it's fully coated. Gently toss the tender between your hands to remove any loose crumbs. Place the breaded chicken tender on a clean plate in a single layer; avoid stacking. Repeat this process for all remaining chicken tenders. (20 minutes)

04

Step

Cook the Chicken: Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Once the oil is hot, carefully place the breaded chicken tenders into the skillet in a single layer, working in batches to avoid overcrowding. Cook the chicken for 3 to 4 minutes per side, or until they are golden brown and cooked through. The internal temperature should reach 165°F (74°C). (15-20 minutes)

05

Step

Serve: Transfer the cooked chicken tenders to a plate lined with paper towels to drain any excess oil. Serve immediately and enjoy!

For an even deeper flavor, try toasting the cereal crumbs in a dry skillet for a few minutes before using them to bread the chicken.
If you prefer a baked version, preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Place the breaded chicken tenders on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
Serve these tenders with your favorite dipping sauces, such as ranch dressing, blue cheese dressing, or extra buffalo sauce.
