Follow The Directions

01

Step

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8x8 inch baking pan. (5 minutes)

02

Step

In a microwave-safe bowl, combine 1/2 cup butter and granulated sugar. Microwave on high until butter is melted, about 1 minute. Stir in 2 ounces chopped baking chocolate until melted. Whisk in eggs until well combined. Add flour, 1 tablespoon orange liqueur, vanilla extract, and salt; stir until just combined. Pour batter into the prepared pan. (10 minutes)

03

Step

Bake in the preheated oven until the top is dry and the edges start to pull away from the sides, 20-25 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool completely. (25 minutes)

04

Step

In a large microwave-safe bowl, melt the remaining 1/4 cup butter on high for about 30 seconds. Stir in 1 ounce chopped baking chocolate until melted. Stir in orange liqueur and confectioners' sugar. Crumble the cooled brownies into the mixture; stir to combine well. (10 minutes)

05

Step

Form the brownie mixture into 1-inch balls and arrange them on a baking sheet. Refrigerate until firm, about 2 hours. Insert a lollipop stick into each brownie ball. (120 minutes)

06

Step

Melt the chocolate confectioners' coating and bittersweet chocolate chips in a double boiler over simmering water, stirring frequently and scraping down the sides to prevent scorching. Keep warm. (15 minutes)

07

Step

Dip each brownie pop into the melted chocolate, allowing excess chocolate to drip back into the saucepan. Place the coated pops on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or set them upright in a piece of craft foam. Let the coating set completely, about 1 hour. (60 minutes)

For a richer flavor, use dark chocolate instead of bittersweet chocolate chips.
To prevent the brownie pops from cracking, ensure the brownie mixture is firm before dipping.
Get creative with your decorations! Use sprinkles, chopped nuts, or even edible glitter.

My brownies came out a little dry, but the orange liqueur really helped add moisture and flavor. Great recipe!

I substituted white chocolate for the coating and added crushed Oreos – they were amazing!
