Follow The Directions

01

Step

Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C). Drain the artichoke hearts, reserving 3 tablespoons of the marinade. Roughly chop the artichoke hearts and set aside. (5 minutes)

02

Step

In a large skillet, heat the reserved artichoke marinade over medium heat. Add the chopped green onions and sauté until softened, about 2-3 minutes. (5 minutes)

03

Step

Transfer the sautéed green onions to a large mixing bowl. Add the chopped artichoke hearts, grated Cheddar cheese, beaten eggs, crumbled saltine crackers, chopped fresh parsley, minced garlic, and a dash of hot pepper sauce. Season generously with salt and freshly ground black pepper. Stir until all ingredients are well combined. (10 minutes)

04

Step

Pour the mixture into a greased 9x13-inch baking dish, spreading evenly. (2 minutes)

05

Step

Bake in the preheated oven until the center is puffy and set, approximately 40 minutes. A toothpick inserted into the center should come out clean. (40 minutes)

06

Step

Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before cutting into 12 squares. Serve warm or at room temperature.

For an even richer flavor, consider adding a splash of heavy cream to the egg mixture.
Feel free to experiment with different types of cheese, such as Gruyere or Parmesan.
If you don't have saltine crackers on hand, you can substitute with breadcrumbs.
This frittata can be made ahead of time and reheated before serving. It also freezes well.
