For a creamier pesto, add a tablespoon of grated Parmesan cheese. To toast walnuts, spread them on a baking sheet and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 5-7 minutes, or until fragrant. Pesto can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days, or frozen for longer storage.
