Whisk in miso; turn off heat. Stir in bell pepper and green onions. (Cook time: 1 minute)

For a richer flavor, use a high-quality vegetable broth.
Feel free to add other vegetables, such as bok choy or spinach.
Do not boil the soup after adding miso paste, as it can destroy the beneficial enzymes and alter the flavor.
Adjust the amount of miso paste to your taste. Start with less and add more as needed.
