Follow The Directions

01

Step

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. (5 minutes)

02

Step

In a bowl, toss Brussels sprouts with olive oil, thyme, salt, and pepper to coat evenly. (3 minutes)

03

Step

Arrange Brussels sprouts in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. (2 minutes)

04

Step

Roast in the preheated oven for 10 minutes, then stir in the fresh cranberries. (10 minutes)

05

Step

Continue roasting for another 10 minutes, or until the Brussels sprouts are tender and slightly caramelized, and the cranberries have burst. (10 minutes)

06

Step

Transfer the roasted sprouts and cranberries to a serving bowl. Drizzle with maple syrup and toss gently to coat. (2 minutes)

For a deeper caramelization, increase oven temperature to 425°F for the last 5 minutes of roasting.
If fresh cranberries aren't available, you can substitute with dried cranberries, but soak them in warm water for 10 minutes before adding to the Brussels sprouts.
A sprinkle of balsamic glaze after roasting adds a delightful tang.
