Add beef, green bell pepper, onion, steak seasoning, salt, and pepper. Cook, stirring frequently, until beef is nicely browned on all sides and vegetables begin to soften. Be careful not to overcrowd the pot; brown the beef in batches if necessary. (15-20 minutes)

Reduce heat to medium. Add beef broth, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, and bay leaf. Stir to combine. Bring to a simmer, then continue cooking until the liquid reduces slightly and the beef is nearly cooked through. (15 minutes)

Reduce heat to low. Stir in the dry brown gravy mix until fully dissolved. Cover the pot and simmer gently, stirring occasionally, until the gravy has thickened to your desired consistency and the beef is exquisitely tender. (10 minutes)

For an even richer flavor, consider searing the beef in a mixture of butter and olive oil.
If you prefer a thicker gravy, whisk a tablespoon of cornstarch with two tablespoons of cold water and stir into the gravy during the last 5 minutes of cooking.
Remove the bay leaf before serving.
This dish is even better the next day! Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
