Taste as you go! Sterilize your jars and lids properly to ensure a longer shelf life. If you don't have fresh green chili, a 1/2 teaspoon of chili powder can be substituted, but the fresh pepper offers a brighter flavor. This jam is excellent paired with pork tenderloin or grilled chicken.
