For a creamier soup, use an immersion blender to partially blend some of the beans before serving. If you don't have fresh cilantro, 1 tablespoon of dried cilantro can be substituted, but fresh is best. Adjust the amount of cayenne pepper to control the level of spiciness. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat gently on the stovetop or in the microwave.
