Follow The Directions

01

Step

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a standard loaf pan. (5 minutes)

02

Step

In a blender or food processor, puree the chopped onion and roasted red peppers until smooth. Transfer the mixture to a large mixing bowl. (5 minutes)

03

Step

Add the flaked salmon, crushed saltine crackers, milk, beaten egg, Worcestershire sauce, cayenne pepper sauce, cayenne pepper, and black pepper to the bowl with the onion and red pepper puree. Gently mix all ingredients until just combined. Be careful not to overmix. (5 minutes)

04

Step

Transfer the salmon mixture to the prepared loaf pan, spreading evenly. (2 minutes)

05

Step

Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 45 minutes, or until an instant-read thermometer inserted into the center of the loaf registers at least 160 degrees F (70 degrees C). (45 minutes)

06

Step

Let the loaf cool in the pan for 10 minutes before inverting it onto a serving platter. Slice and serve warm. (10 minutes)

For a richer flavor, use smoked salmon instead of canned red salmon.
To prevent the loaf from sticking, line the greased loaf pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang for easy removal.
Serve with a dollop of sour cream or a drizzle of sriracha mayo for added flavor.
This loaf can be made ahead of time and reheated gently before serving.
