Follow The Directions

01

Step

In a medium-sized bowl, whisk together the maple syrup, cranberry juice, milk, cinnamon, and allspice until well combined. (Approximately 1 minute)

02

Step

Add the pumpkin puree and sifted confectioners' sugar to the bowl. (Approximately 30 seconds)

03

Step

Whisk vigorously until the mixture is completely smooth and free of any lumps of confectioners' sugar. The syrup should be thick and creamy. (Approximately 2-3 minutes)

For a richer flavor, consider using pumpkin pie spice instead of cinnamon and allspice. Start with 1/2 teaspoon and adjust to your preference.
If the syrup is too thick, add a tablespoon of milk at a time until you reach the desired consistency.
Store leftover syrup in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week. Reheat gently before serving.
A pinch of nutmeg will make the taste even better!

I didn't have cranberry juice, so I used apple cider. It was great!
