For a milder pico de gallo, remove the seeds and membranes from the jalapeños before chopping. You can also substitute serrano peppers for an even hotter kick.
If you don't have garlic salt, use regular salt and a pinch of garlic powder.
Taste and adjust the seasoning before refrigerating. You may want to add more lime juice or salt to brighten the flavors.
This pico de gallo is best served fresh. It will keep in the refrigerator for up to 3 days, but the tomatoes may become a bit watery over time. Drain any excess liquid before serving.
