Follow The Directions

01

Step

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Lightly grease a baking sheet. (5 minutes)

02

Step

In a large mixing bowl, gently combine the ground turkey, panko bread crumbs, pesto, Pecorino Romano cheese, egg, salt, and pepper. Use your hands or a wooden spoon to mix until just combined. Be careful not to overmix, as this can make the meatballs tough. (5 minutes)

03

Step

Roll the mixture into small, walnut-sized meatballs. Place them evenly spaced on the prepared baking sheet. (5 minutes)

04

Step

Bake in the preheated oven until the meatballs are cooked through and no longer pink in the center. The internal temperature should reach 165 degrees F (74 degrees C). This will take approximately 20-25 minutes.

For extra flavor, try adding a clove of minced garlic or a pinch of red pepper flakes to the meatball mixture.
If you don't have Pecorino Romano cheese, Parmesan cheese makes a great substitute.
Serve these meatballs with your favorite marinara sauce, pesto pasta, or as sliders on mini brioche buns.
