For an extra touch of flavor, add a pinch of cinnamon or nutmeg to the blueberry filling. If you don't have self-rising flour, you can make your own by adding 1 1/2 teaspoons of baking powder and 1/2 teaspoon of salt to each cup of all-purpose flour. Be sure to use ice water to keep the crust nice and flaky. This pie is best served the day it's made, but it can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
