Toasting the sesame seeds enhances their nutty flavor. Toast them in a dry pan over medium heat until lightly golden and fragrant.
If you don't have a blender, you can whisk the vinaigrette ingredients together vigorously. Be sure to mince the ginger and garlic very finely.
