For a softer cookie, bake for the shorter end of the time range. For a crispier cookie, bake for a minute or two longer. If the dough becomes too soft while rolling, return it to the refrigerator for a few minutes to firm up. Store baked cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.
