Follow The Directions

01

Step
2 mins

In a large bowl, combine the thawed orange juice concentrate and sugar. Stir well until the sugar is completely dissolved. (Approximately 2 minutes)

02

Step
5 mins

Gently fold in the crushed pineapple, chopped frozen strawberries, and diced bananas, ensuring all the fruit is evenly coated with the orange juice mixture. (Approximately 5 minutes)

03

Step
1 mins

Slowly pour in the chilled ginger ale, stirring gently to combine. Be careful not to over-stir, as this will cause the ginger ale to lose its carbonation. (Approximately 1 minute)

04

Step
10 mins

Ladle approximately 2/3 cup of the fruit mixture into each of the 25 plastic cups. (Approximately 10 minutes)

05

Step
4 hrs

Place the filled cups in the freezer and freeze until solid. (Minimum 4 hours)

06

Step
1 hrs

Remove the fruit slushes from the freezer about 1 hour before serving to allow them to soften slightly, making them easier to enjoy. (Approximately 60 minutes)

For a less sweet slush, reduce the amount of sugar by 1/4 cup.
If you don't have ginger ale, you can substitute it with lemon-lime soda for a similar flavor.
Feel free to experiment with other fruits, such as peaches, blueberries, or mangoes.
For easier serving, consider using popsicle molds instead of individual cups.
To prevent the fruit from sinking to the bottom, you can freeze the orange juice concentrate mixture slightly before adding the fruit.
