For an extra layer of flavor, try using homemade raspberry simple syrup. Simply simmer equal parts raspberries, sugar, and water until the sugar dissolves, then strain and chill. Adjust the amount of simple syrup to your desired sweetness level. Taste as you go! If you don't have a Collins glass, a highball glass will work just as well. For a non-alcoholic version, omit the rum and vodka and add a splash of raspberry juice or puree.
