Follow The Directions

01

Step

Halve the eggs lengthwise and gently scoop the yolks into a medium-sized bowl. (5 minutes)

02

Step

Using a fork, mash the yolks until they are smooth and free of lumps. Add the cream cheese spread, mayonnaise, sweet pickle relish, brown mustard, minced garlic, and hot pepper sauce. (3 minutes)

03

Step

Season generously with sea salt and freshly ground black pepper. Taste and adjust seasonings as needed, adding more hot pepper sauce for extra spice or a touch more mayonnaise for creaminess. (2 minutes)

04

Step

Using a spoon or a piping bag, carefully fill the egg white halves with the yolk mixture. Ensure each egg is generously filled. (8 minutes)

05

Step

Sprinkle the deviled eggs with freshly chopped chives. (2 minutes)

06

Step

Cover the deviled eggs and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld. This also helps the filling to firm up slightly. (30 minutes)

For an extra smooth filling, consider using a food processor or blender to combine the yolk mixture.
If you don't have sweet pickle relish, a finely diced dill pickle can be used as a substitute.
To make these ahead of time, prepare the filling and store it separately in an airtight container in the refrigerator. Fill the egg whites just before serving to prevent them from becoming soggy.
Garnish with a sprinkle of smoked paprika for a touch of color and smoky flavor.
