In a large stock pot, heat over medium-high heat. Add ground beef and onions. Cook, breaking up beef with a spatula, until onions have softened and beef is no longer pink. Drain excess grease. (Approximately 5 minutes)

Add green pepper, beef broth, tomatoes, beans, corn, potato, chili powder, Worcestershire sauce, paprika, and cumin. Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer. (Approximately 40 minutes)

Season with salt and pepper. Ladle into bowls and serve.

For an extra layer of flavor, consider browning the ground beef with a touch of smoked paprika or cumin.
If you like a thicker soup, mash some of the potatoes against the side of the pot during the last 15 minutes of simmering.
