Follow The Directions

01

Step

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Combine flour and paprika in a shallow bowl. (5 minutes)

02

Step

Place chicken cutlets between two pieces of plastic wrap; pound with a mallet to a thickness of 1/4 inch. Season both sides with salt and pepper. (10 minutes)

03

Step

Mash spreadable cheese with a fork in a bowl until creamy. Stir in broccoli and Cheddar until well combined. Spread mixture over the middle of each cutlet, then roll cutlets over filling and secure the edges with toothpicks. Dredge in flour mixture. (15 minutes)

04

Step

Heat oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Place chicken into the skillet and cook until browned, 2 to 3 minutes per side. (5 minutes)

05

Step

Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake until chicken is no longer pink in the center and the juices run clear, 14 to 16 minutes. An instant-read thermometer inserted into the center should read at least 165 degrees F (74 degrees C). Remove toothpicks before serving. (15 minutes)

For an extra layer of flavor, try adding a sprinkle of garlic powder or onion powder to the flour mixture.
If you don't have an oven-safe skillet, you can transfer the browned chicken to a baking dish before placing it in the oven.
Ensure the chicken is cooked through by using an instant-read thermometer. The internal temperature should reach 165°F (74°C).

I didn't have any spreadable cheese, so I used cream cheese and it turned out just fine.

I used regular chicken breasts and sliced them myself. It worked great! The stuffing is also amazing with a little bit of garlic powder.

Easy to follow and delicious! I added a pinch of red pepper flakes to the cheese mixture for a little kick.

This is a great way to use up leftover broccoli. I'll be experimenting with different cheese combinations next time.

I found that 15 minutes in the oven was perfect for my chicken cutlets. Check the internal temperature to be sure!

My kids loved this, and they are usually picky eaters. A definite keeper!

Make sure you secure the toothpicks well, otherwise the filling might leak out during baking.
