For a smoky flavor, grill the corn instead of microwaving it. Simply remove the husks and grill over medium heat, turning occasionally, until lightly charred. Adjust the amount of cayenne pepper to your preference. For a milder flavor, omit it altogether. If you don't have fresh cilantro, you can substitute with fresh parsley or mint.
