Follow The Directions

01

Step

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper. (5 minutes)

02

Step

In a medium bowl, combine the whole wheat flour and carrot baby food. Mix by hand until a stiff dough forms. (5 minutes)

03

Step

Place the dough onto a lightly floured work surface. Lightly dust a rolling pin with flour and roll the dough to a thickness of 1/8 inch. Cut into desired shapes using cookie cutters or a knife. Place the treats onto the prepared baking sheets, leaving about 1/2 inch between each. (15 minutes)

04

Step

Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes. Then, turn the oven off and leave the treats inside for an additional 30 minutes to allow them to crisp up further. (50 minutes)

05

Step

Remove the baking sheets from the oven and transfer the dog treats to wire racks to cool completely. (10 minutes)

For a crunchier treat, bake for a few extra minutes.
Feel free to experiment with other flavors of baby food, such as sweet potato or pumpkin.
Store the cooled treats in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week or freeze for longer storage.
