Follow The Directions

01

Step

Preheat your oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper. (5 minutes)

02

Step

In a large bowl, combine the Greek yogurt and self-rising flour. Stir until a crumbly dough forms. (2 minutes)

03

Step

Lightly dust a clean cutting board with flour. Transfer the dough mixture to the board and knead until smooth and elastic. This should take about 5 minutes.

04

Step

In a small bowl, whisk together the egg and water to create an egg wash. (1 minute)

05

Step

Roll the dough into a 12x6-inch rectangle. Using a knife or pizza cutter, slice the dough in half lengthwise. Then, cut crosswise into 1-inch strips, resulting in approximately 24 strips. (5 minutes)

06

Step

Wrap one dough strip around each cocktail wiener, ensuring the seam is on the bottom. Place the wrapped pigs in a blanket onto the prepared baking sheet. (10 minutes)

07

Step

Brush the tops of each pig in a blanket with the egg wash. Generously sprinkle everything bagel seasoning over the egg-washed dough. (3 minutes)

08

Step

Bake in the preheated oven for about 15 minutes, or until the dough is golden brown and the wieners are heated through. (15 minutes)

09

Step

Let them cool slightly before serving. Enjoy with your favorite dipping sauce!

For a richer flavor, try using flavored Greek yogurt.
If you don't have self-rising flour, you can make your own by combining 1 cup all-purpose flour with 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder and 1/4 teaspoon salt.
Feel free to experiment with different seasonings! Garlic powder, onion powder, or poppy seeds would also be delicious.
These are best served warm, but can be reheated if needed.
