01

Step
5 mins

Prepare the Martini Glass (5 minutes): Moisten the rim of a chilled martini glass with the cut side of a lemon twist. On a small plate, evenly spread the sugar. Gently dip the moistened rim into the sugar, coating it evenly. Carefully place the twisted lemon peel in the rimmed glass as a garnish, setting it aside.

02

Step
2 mins

Combine and Chill (2 minutes): In a cocktail shaker, combine the citron vodka, fresh lemon juice, pomegranate juice, and simple syrup.

03

Step
1 mins

Shake Vigorously (1 minute): Fill the cocktail shaker with ice. Seal tightly and shake vigorously until the outside of the shaker is well-chilled and frosted.

04

Step
1 mins

Strain and Serve (1 minute): Strain the mixture into the prepared, sugar-rimmed martini glass. Serve immediately and enjoy responsibly.

For a less sweet martini, reduce the amount of simple syrup to 1 ounce.
If you don't have citron vodka, plain vodka works well, but add a few drops of lemon extract to the shaker.
To make simple syrup, combine equal parts sugar and water in a saucepan. Heat over medium heat, stirring until the sugar is completely dissolved. Let cool before using. Extra simple syrup can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
Ensure your ingredients are well-chilled before beginning for the best results.
Garnish with a few pomegranate seeds for an extra touch of elegance.
