Follow The Directions

01

Step

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly coat a loaf pan with cooking spray. (5 minutes)

02

Step

In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, bread crumbs, onion, Worcestershire sauce, 2 tablespoons of ketchup, egg whites, brown sugar, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined – avoid overmixing for a tender meatloaf. (10 minutes)

03

Step

Gently press the mixture into the prepared loaf pan, ensuring an even distribution. (2 minutes)

04

Step

Bake in the preheated oven, uncovered, until the meatloaf is cooked through and no longer pink in the center, approximately 45 minutes. (45 minutes)

05

Step

Spread the remaining ketchup evenly over the top of the meatloaf and continue baking until the ketchup glaze bubbles and thickens, about 15 minutes more. (15 minutes)

06

Step

An instant-read thermometer inserted into the center should register at least 160 degrees F (70 degrees C). Let the meatloaf rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.

For an extra layer of flavor, consider adding a clove or two of minced garlic to the meat mixture.
To prevent the meatloaf from sticking, you can line the loaf pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang on the sides for easy removal.
Serve with your favorite sides, such as mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables, or a fresh salad.
