For an extra layer of flavor, add 1/2 cup of chopped walnuts or pecans to the batter. If you don't have margarine, unsalted butter works just as well in the frosting. To prevent the marshmallows from melting into the frosting, fold them in just before spreading it on the cake. Store leftover cake in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
