Follow The Directions

01

Step
5 mins

In a large bowl, whisk together the red wine and steak sauce. Add the orange slices, green onions, chile peppers, garlic, and ginger. Season generously with salt and pepper. (5 minutes)

02

Step
5 mins

Place the beef strips in a shallow dish or resealable bag. Pour the marinade over the meat, ensuring each piece is well coated. Cover the dish or seal the bag, and refrigerate for at least 8 hours, or preferably overnight, to allow the flavors to fully penetrate the beef. (5 minutes + 8 hours marinating)

03

Step
30 mins

Preheat an outdoor grill to high heat. Lightly oil the grill grate to prevent sticking. If using wooden or bamboo skewers, soak them in water for at least 30 minutes to prevent burning. (35 minutes)

04

Step
10 mins

Remove the steak strips from the marinade, discarding the marinade. Thread the meat onto the prepared skewers, packing them closely together. (15 minutes)

05

Step
10 mins

Arrange the skewers on the preheated grill, ensuring they are evenly spaced. Cook for 7 to 10 minutes, turning occasionally, until the meat is no longer pink and the juices run clear. Use a meat thermometer to ensure the internal temperature reaches 135°F (57°C) for medium-rare, or cook longer to your desired level of doneness. (10 minutes)

For an extra layer of flavor, add a tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce to the marinade.
Serve the skewers with a side of couscous, quinoa, or a fresh salad for a complete meal.
If you don't have an outdoor grill, you can cook the skewers under a broiler or in a grill pan on the stovetop.
Adjust the amount of chile peppers to your spice preference.
