Follow The Directions

01

Step
5 mins

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease a 13x9-inch baking dish. (5 minutes)

02

Step
7 mins

In a large skillet, heat over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and cook, breaking it apart with a spoon, until browned and crumbly. This should take approximately 5 to 7 minutes. Drain off any excess grease and discard.

03

Step
5 mins

In the prepared baking dish, combine the browned ground beef, drained pork and beans, ketchup, brown sugar, cold water, white vinegar, and mustard. Stir well to ensure all ingredients are evenly distributed.

04

Step
1 hrs

Bake in the preheated oven until the beans are heated through and beginning to thicken and dry slightly around the edges. This will take about 1 hour.

For a richer flavor, try using smoked paprika or a dash of chili powder.
If you prefer a thicker sauce, mix 1 tablespoon of cornstarch with 2 tablespoons of cold water and stir it into the bean mixture before baking.
Feel free to add other ingredients like chopped onions, bell peppers, or bacon for added flavor and texture.
