Follow The Directions

01

Step
5 mins

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil for easy cleanup. (Prep time: 5 minutes)

02

Step
10 mins

In a large mixing bowl, gently combine the ground turkey, chopped onion, shredded carrots, diced green bell pepper, crushed crackers, lightly beaten egg, milk, garlic and herb seasoning blend, and black pepper. Mix with your hands until just combined; be careful not to overmix, as this can result in a tough meatloaf. (Prep time: 10 minutes)

03

Step
5 mins

Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it onto the prepared baking sheet. (Prep time: 5 minutes)

04

Step
45 mins

Bake in the preheated oven until an instant-read thermometer inserted into the center of the meatloaf registers at least 165 degrees F (74 degrees C), approximately 40 to 45 minutes. Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving. (Bake time: 45 minutes, Rest time: 10 minutes)

For added moisture, consider adding a tablespoon of tomato paste to the meatloaf mixture.
Experiment with different herbs and spices to customize the flavor profile to your liking. Smoked paprika, dried oregano, or a pinch of red pepper flakes can add depth and complexity.
To prevent the meatloaf from sticking to the baking sheet, you can also use a loaf pan lined with parchment paper.
Leftover meatloaf makes excellent sandwiches or can be crumbled and added to pasta sauces or chili.

This meatloaf was surprisingly flavorful for being low-sodium! The vegetables added a nice sweetness and texture.

Easy to follow and delicious! I added a little bit of Worcestershire sauce for extra umami flavor (use low-sodium version if needed).
