For a deeper garlic flavor, gently sauté the minced garlic in the olive oil for a minute or two before tossing with the knots. Feel free to adjust the amount of red pepper flakes to your liking. You can also add a pinch of dried oregano or basil for extra flavor. If you don't have fresh parsley, dried parsley can be substituted, but use about half the amount. These knots are best enjoyed fresh, but can be reheated in a warm oven or microwave if needed.
